• WHAT ARE YOUR CLEANING PRACTICES?

    Human’s Best Friend uses pet safe products to disinfect throughout the day. At the end fo each day, Human’s Best Friend will be deep cleaned and fully sanitized with pet safe products.

    CAN I TAKE OFF MY MASK TO TAKE PHOTOS WHILE INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE?

    Masks must be worn at all times except when snapping a picture. Please be mindful of other guests nearby. And no, dogs do not need to wear masks. :)

    DO I NEED PPE OR FACIAL COVERINGS TO ENTER THE EXPERIENCE?

    Masks must be worn at all times except when enjoying a treat or taking a picture. In light of the state-mandated executive order due to Covid-19, all eligible guests must use the state’s official apps, NYC Covid Safe/Excelsior Pass or a paper card to show proof of vaccination (at least one dose is needed) to enter indoor dining and entertainment venues from 17 August 2021 onwards upon arrival at the museum. For guests from outside of the United States, please present proof of paperwork showing that you received any of the eight vaccines approved for emergency use by the W.H.O.

    Children: Starting December 14, children ages 5 to 11 are required to have proof of vaccination for the public indoor activities described here. They must show they have received at least one dose of a vaccine.

    IS THERE HAND SANITIZER THROUGHOUT THE EXPERIENCE?

    Throughout the experience there will be sanitizer available.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF A HBF EMPLOYEE CONTRACTS COVID-19?

    If an HBF employees contracts COVID-19, that employee will be asked to stay home and cannot return to work unless until

    At least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery defined as: resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and, Improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and,

    At least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared OR negative result from COVID19 diagnostic test

    HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO EXPERIENCE HUMAN’S BEST FRIEND?

    Human’s Best Friend is designed to be 20~30 minutes of FUN for you and your pup.

    What do I get with my ticket?

    Humans and Dogs will get to saturate themselves in a series of dog-centric, holiday-themed environments where you will come across over a dozen photo moments and activations to snap the perfect photo. Your pup will also have the time of their life exploring this modern dog park meets interactive museum.

    WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?

    We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the half hour slot you purchased (eg. 1:20 p.m. for a 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Ticket). Note your ticket is only valid for the date and time purchased.

    DO YOU OFFER COAT CHECK OR STROLLER CHECK?

    There is no coat check at Human’s Best Friend. We do not have dedicated stroller space or coat check but will do our best to accommodate stroller storage when possible.

    CAN CHILDREN ATTEND HUMAN’S BEST FRIEND?

    Children 2 and under are free. Although we love kids, we ask that each child is ALWAYS accompanied and supervised by an adult and precautions are taken when interacting with dogs. Human’s Best Friend is intended to be an all-ages experience, we encourge  the use of carries for infants and small children as a precaution. We love our little ones, and want to ensure they interact with pups correctly and under supervision. Minors will need to be accompanied by an adult.

    WILL I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER TO ENTER?

    Yes. Each guest will need to sign a Liability and Release waiver. Adults are responsible for minors in their party. The waiver can be found at www.humansbf.com/waiver

    WILL I HAVE ENOUGH TIME WITH THE FINAL NIGHT TIME SLOT?

    Yes! Human’s Best Friend will be open past 6pm but please arrive within 15 minutes of your ticket time as entry doors will close without exception.

    DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?

  • HOW IS THE COST OF A TICKET?

    Human Tickets are $25. Dogs are Free. Please note, 1 Dog will be allowed in per Human ticket. Children 2 and under are free. Tickets are non-refundable.

    WHERE DO I GET TICKETS?

    Tickets can be purchased on our website at this link www.HumansBF.com. Purchases are made by date and time slot.

    CAN I REFUND OR EXCHANGE MY TICKET?

    Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be exchanged. Login to your ticket portal to exchange times (link available in your confirmation email). You can also contact woof@humansbf.com for time swaps.

    ARE TICKETS TRANSFERABLE BETWEEN GUESTS?

    Photo ID must be shown for entry and must match the name that is written on the ticket. Note that groups must enter together.

    If anyone in your group is unable to make it and you would like to transfer it to another guest, we will be happy to accommodate.

    DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET?

    No! Tickets can be presented via your mobile device. You must present your ticket on your phone with a valid ID.

    ARE TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR?

    Tickets can be purchased online only.

    WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

    Yes.

    IS THERE PARKING?

    Yes. There are hourly parking garages nearby. There is street parking in front of Human’s Best Friend on the weekdays.

  • IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED?

    YES!!! Commercial or Product shoots, press interviews, media shoots, and all professional video equipment is prohibited without advance approval. Contact press@humansbf.com for requests.

    ARE FOOD AND BEVERAGES PERMITTED IN HUMAN’S BEST FRIEND?

    Food and beverages are not permitted in Human’s Best Friend except for water bottles.

    ARE PETS ALLOWED AT HUMAN’S BEST FRIEND.

    Only dogs are allowed (1 pup per ticket) at Human’s Best Friend. The only exception is for service animals on a leash and under their owners control as authorized by applicable law.

  • IS MY DOG THE RIGHT FIT FOR THIS EVENT?

    This event is not intended for aggressive, sick, or dogs behind on shots. We do not suggest dogs overly stressed by crowds, those in  heat or dogs with heart problems attend. Ensure your dog is well behaved, socialized and healthy.

    CAN I ATTEND IF I DONT HAVE A DOG?

    Sure! This season, we recommend to come with a dog or invite a friend who does to join you.

    AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MORE THAN 1 DOG?

    Human tickets admit one person and one dog. Each dog must be accompanied by its Human. 

    WILL DOGS IN THE EVEN BE LEASHED?

    All dogs must remain leashed.

    WHAT WILL PROTECT SMALLER DOGS FROM BIGGER DOGS?

    Our Brand Ambassadors will be trained to monitor the flow of guests and their dogs through the experience. Each room will have a gate at the entrance and exit, allowing our brand ambassadors to manage the flow of small and big dogs. As a safety precaution, we will not allow a big dog and small dog in the same room at one time, unless approved by owners.

    HOW DO WE PROTECT THE DOGS FROM FLEAS, TICKS OR SICKNESS?

    We have the floor cleaned and sterilized daily and ongoing cleaning throughout the day. We are including parasite treatment and vaccinations in our guidelines for entry.

    WILL THERE BE KNOWLEDGEABLE DOG FRIENDLY STAFF?

    Yes, we will have trained brand ambassadors to ASSIST dogs and their humans through the experience and to look out for any signs of distress or aggression from all dogs, guests and rescues.

    HOW MANY DOGS TOTAL WILL BE IN THE EVENT AT A SINGLE TIME?

    Between 2-3 max dogs will be allowed in each of our 3 main areas at one time.

    HOW MANY HUMANS WILL INSIDE HUMAN’S BEST FRIEND AT A SINGLE TIME?

    Up to 20 at one time, including guests, and HumansBF staff.

    HOW ARE DONATIONS BEING HANDLED?

    10% of ticket proceeds (after taxes and fees) will be donated to our rescue partner Animal Haven

    WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING DAY OF?

    Plan to bring a collapsible water bowl and your normal on the town supplies (poop bags, leash collar). We will have supplies on hand, so no worries if you forget.

    WHAT IF MY DOG IS IN A FIGHT AT HUMANS’S BEST FRIEND?

    Brand ambassadors are prepared to keep dogs safe in the most humane way, by using non harmful deterrents. Dogs who are unsocialized or aggressive are not permitted in the event. We are taking all precautions to provide a safe environment for all dogs and humans. All dog owners and guests will be required to sign a waiver prior to entry and are responsible for their dogs.
